NEW NOTICE: Azimuth Risk Solutions Policy Holders: 

Brokers 

We are writing to notify you of a significant update regarding Azimuth Risk Solutions’ product offerings. Following a thorough evaluation of market conditions, client needs, and the evolving regulatory landscape, we have made the decision to discontinue The Meridian Series, effective April 1, 2025.

Reasons for the Discontinuance:

  • Changing Market Demand: Over recent years, we have observed a shift in client preferences toward more flexible and short-term coverage options, which are not fully aligned with the structure of The Meridian Series.
  • Regulatory Changes: Increasing complexity in international health insurance regulations has created additional challenges for maintaining compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Operational Efficiencies: To ensure we can focus on delivering innovative and competitive products, we are reallocating resources to new product development and our core offerings, which better meet the current needs of our clients and partners.

Key Details of the Discontinuation:

  • End of New Applications: Effective March 31, 2025, we will no longer accept new applications for the following plans:
    • Meridian Enhanced
    • Meridian Essential
    • Meridian Clear
    • Meridian Global Mariner
  • Policy Termination: All existing coverage under these plans will terminate at 11:59 PM EST on the day preceding each policy’s renewal date, beginning April 1, 2025.

Supporting You and Your Clients

We recognize the impact this change may have and are committed to facilitating a smooth transition:

  • Client Notification: Formal notifications will be sent electronically to all affected clients within 45 days of their policy’s nonrenewal date.
  • Guidance on Alternatives: Clients will be encouraged to contact you to explore alternative coverage options.

While the Meridian Series will be withdrawn, we are actively developing new product solutions to better meet client needs. We will keep you informed of these developments and share updates as new products become available.

In the interim, Azimuth Risk Solutions will continue to provide competitive international health insurance options, including:

  • The Beacon Series: Our Travel Medical Plan
  • The Contour Plan: Our Employer Benefit Plan
